Philosophy
At XtrAct we strive to seek out Drama teachers who not only have experience in the performing arts industry, but also have teacher training from a tertiary institution. Drama is a tool for students beyond acting skills and ensuring our teachers are equipped to facilitate lessons with this in mind is imperative. To create more resilient actors, and adults, we must move beyond acting and teach the whole child. |
Performance
December 11th 2024 Peninsula Theatre 7 - 8pm Rehearsals
Naturally students will be given time to rehearse their play in class each week. However, to ensure they are confident with their parts and are able to enjoy the performance experience, parents and guardians are asked to find some time during the week to help them go over their lines and stage directions. We recommend students rehearse a section of their script for no more than 5 - 10 minutes a day if they are practicing it everyday OR 30 minutes twice a week outside of class.. |
